Materials required

• Cutter or scissors
  
• Squeegee (to smoothen out the decal), if you prefer

Instructions to apply

• Place the decal (back-side up) on top of the surface that you want to cover with it and mark the decal where you want to cut.
• Outline the size on the back of the decal with a pencil.
• Take a cutter, or scissors and cut along the outline.
• Take the cut-out decal and once again, place it along the surface to be covered and ensure it is covering it the way you'd want. 
• Now, hold one corner of it. Start peeling off that corner of the adhesive cover of the decal.
• Keep peeling along the surface, removing the adhesive back cover as you go. Simultaneously, press and smoothen out the decal as you move along the surface.
• Once you are done, smoothen out the decal, smoothing out any air bubbles that may have formed. You can use a squeegee for this process, or go bare-handed!
• Voila, you're done! It's as simple as that!

Pro tips:

• If your furniture has knobs, handles or any type of extra embellishments, unscrew or take them off first, so you have a plain surface to work with. You can attach them back after you're done!
• Always ensure the area you want to cover is clean and dry before applying.
• It is better to buy a little more than you need, so that you can always work with more material, rather than being short of it!
• For best results, apply onto smooth & clean surfaces. Do not apply on lacquered furniture, or one that is heavily textured.
